I've never owned a tractor in my life, but now have 13 acres to mow. Where do I start?

You need to first decide what you want to do on your 13 acres.
Is your land all grass, weeds, woods, needs landscaping, ect.
It's very hard to make a recommendation without know what your
needs are... ....

wiley, for general maintenance of property, ie. mowing, seeding, brush & stone & snow removal. I would recomended a compact tractor such as the jd 790 or 4100 series(25-30 hp). Im not pushing just john deeres, all of the compacts have there pros and cons. These tractors should serve you well for general property management.Also, If you could find a tractor with a front end loader, you wont be sorry.
This spring, hit some of these consignment sales, I'm certain that you will find something to fit your needs.
